MBRP for L99

I haven't been able to find many reviews or video clips of MBRP's L99 cat back system (s7024304 or s7024409). They claim it is no-drone system can anyone confirm this? how does it sounds compared to for example Corsa and Solo L99 systems? It looks pretty good but their performance claim seems to good to be true...

I have an MBRP cat-back system on my car but I don't have anything to make a video with. I do know you can go on Youtube and type in MBRP for some videos. I love the sound of my MBRP system deep and throaty, real muscle car sound.

Do you have L99? Can you hear the AFM kick in? any drone? Did you install it yourself, did it fit without removing the brace?

I have the s7024304 set, in the box still,:(. I am installing some JBA shorties and a Roto Fab CAI all at the same time. I have everything but the headers. They are one their way as I type. I hope to install all this by next week if everything falls into play! I will be making videos and taking lots of pictures. Hang in there!

I can say that this system doesn't drone as I've personally spent hrs in these cars in testing...R&D spent months working on this car to get it right. We wanted to get the deep tone as well as mask the cylinder cut down as best as physically possible.

Install of the system yourself is really straight forward...getting the stock off by yourself will be the only big challenge (all one piece), but guys have done it. I'd recommend finding a friend to help getting the stocker off.

As for the brace, we provide a new one we designed for this so you don't use the factory one again.

I have a L99 with this exhaust...it a great sounding exhaust. I know they clam it gives 15 additional horsepower but when I did it, the dyno showed 6 additional horsepower. Overall, I am very happy with it and I just went to C5Fest from St. Louis (900+ miles) and the drone and AFM was hardly noticeable. With the stock SS radio set between 13 -15 and traveling just normal normal highway speeds, the exhaust is hardly noticeable, but once you jump on it, it Rock!!!

That sounds great, I am leaning more and more towards this system. How does it sound at idle?

I do have an L99 and I had a friend install it. I believe the system comes with a new MBRP brace to replace the stock one. I took the AFM off with a Superchips Flashpaq.
