Well worth the money.

All the dealer will do is put another sorry ass stock replacement in there.. You can go through a bunch of free ones, having the dealer take it apart over and over, or just buy a QUALITY built clutch and have it installed.
EXACTLY!!!!

Wait and see what GM does, this a is serious issue that must be delt with and put to rest. But like preordering a car thats not yet in production, you can't expect perfection the first year. A stuck half engaged clutch is unacceptable and everybody knows it. I had faith when I preordered, I have faith GM will want to end this issue quickly. By the way, this is my one and only issue I have ever had so far. If my goal was 600 plus HP, I would be buying a upgrade clutch without a doubt. These new Camaros will get better and better... wait and see

And the best way to get it resolved asap is for anyone with a problem to take it to the dealer and get it documented just as you have. That sends a very direct message to GM.

My clutch finally gave up at Camarofest. I only made one decent pass out of 8 , and even on that one the pedal didnt come all the way back up after the launch. Besides the clutch pedal sticking halfway or sucking back to the floor , I now cant shift 2nd gear under hard acceleration? Hopefully my dealer will warranty it. Im really interested the TSB on the beefier pressure plate I WOULD LOVE THE # to it!!!

I went to check on my car today before I had to be at work at 3:30, It was still on the rack with my exhaust on the floor. The service manager told me it would be together later this evening. I plan to pick it up in the morning and I'll send PMs and post what I know tomorrow.

My second pass at Camaro5fest my clutch stuck to the floor in 1st at 6000rpm. Couldn't shift to 2nd til I let up and smelled clutch the rest of the day. Guess I will be going to my dealer. Need to clean the tire rubber residue off the back fender wells first.

Been a problem for a looooooong time.
"By TT Vert ( Page 3)
So at that point I had replaced: Slave, master, eliminated heat, fluid and air. Leaving Clutch assembly. WHen i tore it down over winter to put in a new slave, the disk and PP looked BRAND new w/ no bluing of the flywheel. Ive never had a slipping issue so it left the Pressure plate as the culprit. At this point im 99% confident the problem is caused by the GM PP Design. " Well I'm not betting.... Just hopeful this redesigned pressure plate and everything else brand new does the trick. TJ

This got me as well. I thought clutches were designated as a wear item, and therefore not covered under warranty.

Did this get rid of the problems talked about here?

Also - did it change pedal feel or engagement points at all?

Here is the deal with mine whether warranty would cover, an ecm check, does the car have major modifications, does the car show signs of abuse by tires and clutch thickness, finally mileage, mine has 3,000 but as someone said before, less than 10,000.
