I dont think they're a visual improvement, but I love my paint more than I hated putting them on. What I don't understand, is why does the front set have a flat front, and the back set is scooped(?).

I've had mine (the real ones) for a while but was reluctant to put them on. I grew tired of the rocks and crap so I had the dealer install them recently. Love the way they look. To each his/her own.

I hear ya! I never cared for them at all, but like all you splash guard owners, I'd rather have me paint last longer than a year

They grew on me and actually don't look to bad

I put them on after seeing all the rock chip thread discussions. I wasn't real thrilled about the way they looked but they do what they are supposed to do.

I get compliments on mine all the time. I think the GM ones match the car and make it look somewhat lowered. These others look cheap, like something you pick up from a truck stop.

I could see the functional use, but would never want to post pics of my Camaro with them on. To each his own.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to insult anyone with splashguards. I just prefer the clean lines of the car better without them. Unfortunately like everyone here has said, you wither put them on or deal with the insane number of stone chips. I like the thin "cheap" looking plastic ones because they blend in more and are not as noticeable. It's just my opinion though. I should have explained that the GM ones not looking good are just my opinion, and chosen my words more carefully.

I installed those on my IBM and I think they look way better than the GM ones, but to each his own I guess. The only thing I dont like about these is they use a 'clip' at the top on the front ones (2 screws on the bottom) and the rears use 2 screws + some double sided tape.

If either of those becomes an issue I'll probably look for another way to mount them.

They say these are not "universal" splash guards and are custom made for the Camaro, but they look like the flat guards I used to buy in the '70s. You could get stainless steel or black plastic, and they don't look like the design has changed much.
I had them on my 69 Camaro for awhile.
