The catback has the x-pipe and no resonators. It should be louder than the axle-back.

You may be right on this. I just talked to tech at Cherry Bomb and he said there should be no difference. Hey, you want loud...go with Cherry Bomb - "Disturbing the Peace Since 1968."

I drive an A6 I just ordered mine on wednesday, no shipping info yet. But when I get it installed I'll let you know. I plan on putting the cat back on but if the drone is to loud putting the resonator back and adding just the axel back.

Magnaflow is the only supplier we carry that has systems for the GM Performance Package option. The product image shows a square (rectanglar) type tip and Magnaflow's technical support said some people use existing OEM tips.

Part # Description List Price Selling Price SPECIAL Price for you
16480 Axle-back $1065.67 $ 823.47 $600.00
16481 Cat-back $1731.72 $1338.15 $885.00
16482 Cat-back $1466.74 $1133.39 $785.00

16481 is the Street Series and 16482 is the Competition Series with the most aggressive sound. If you have interest in one of these just PM me so I can change the selling price for you.

Hope this helps.

Sorry about that. Nothing from Cherry Bomb with the GFX option - only Magnaflow of the manufacturers we carry.

Received my Extreme Exhaust yesterday and installed this morning. All I have to say is WOW!!! Easy install (just had one problem with the stock coupling clamps not cooperating but a quick trip to Advance fixed that issue) and extremely clean. Sounds phenomenol. Best money spent I have ever made for an upgrade or mod. If you are on the fence, go with Cherry Bomb..... You will not be disappointed. Check out my install pics and vids:

I turned AFM back on yesterday to get a couple of data collection runs with the Predator. The cabin noise isn't a great deal different. You could tell when it activated but IMO it was not annoying.
