unless you're planning on having insane power (650+ rwhp), just get the 20" Nittos 555R, I ran 12.3 in the 1/4 mile with the pirellis and 11.3 with the stock wheels with these Nittos.

my new ss is procharged 571rwhp

I have a set of c5 zo6 rears18/10.5 with 305/35/18's, First I am trying to see if they will fit without a spacer and second are they to short and will mess with the pcm. My dr's are brand new still in the box trying to see if I just need to send them back and get the 305/45/18,s or if I will be alright.

People have gone into the 8's and I believe the 7's on a 275 tires.... does that mean you don't need anything wider than a 275 unless you plan on going 7s in the 1/4?

i dont think that idea is worth your money... those will barely, if even, hook better than the stock tires.

you can also use the stock c6 wheels, just have to use a spacer as well

There really is no selection for drag tires for a 20" wheel. The nitto 555rs suck. period. There is a 315/35/20 nitto nt05R. would be kind of iffy on putting that on a 9" wheel though
Just as an FYI: our Camaro went 1.6s on the 20" Nitto drag radials their very first time out, so they don't exactly "suck"...

Does anyone know if 2000 C5 Corvette rims will fit the Camaro SS? They are 18" x 9.5"

Yes the C5 18X9.5 needs a spacer. I think it's a 3/16. Not 100% sure. A guy is running them down here. He test fitted them and said they would not clear without the spacer.
