But yes the Kenne Bell blowers are amazing.
Then factor in the cost of a new transmission, rear end..drive shaft, etc etc

Very, very expensive enterprise.

It could be very dangerous in the hands of someone with no respect for the kind of power it makes. And yes 1st through 4th gear equals tire spin if you try and mash the pedal more 50%.

I'd call it a miracle.

After you go past 650hp, at the crank, on the 5.0 or 6.2 you are living on borrowed time if the internals are stock.

Porting is good for 25WHP

This is all with a tune. Pretty easy to get 500WHP with those mods. Picking the correct combination is critical.
I imagine it can be done, but I doubt it can be done with ease. You don't get 35 whp with exhaust and you are very lucky to get 15 whp on an intake, even with a tune. I haven't heard of any cams that give you 80 whp. Porting probably can give you 25 whp. But the main thing is, different components don't add their horsepower together like that. Their individual power gains kind of blend together to make the total power output of the package.

Even my friend that has the 826rwhp GT500 is playing with fire. The rods could go at any time.

He does have planned to change them at least.

You know what, I will say that dynos are different all over the country. So nothing surprises me when I really think about it. I've seen my L99 with a Corsa catback and a Halltech CAI dyno at 297 whp!!! Wtf is that sh*%? This is subsequent to it dynoing at 336 whp with just the Corsa catback on a Mustang dyno. What gives? Different dynos.

Will disagree with you. It has been proven many times. Read through the many posts in the LS3/L99 sub-forum here....it is not rocket science. Feel free to PM the following vendors:

Vector
Texas Speed
Jannetty Racing
Livernois

I've read quite a number of the forums. Btw, I didn't realize you meant headers in your "35 rwhp" exhaust package. I understand that headers adds a good deal in the tuning package. I can see how you can get closer to 500 rwhp with headers, catback, cai, aggressive cam, and nicely ported heads.

Yeah, that cam in the Jannetty package doesn't seem too mild. But it's all good. I'm sure you'll have a fast car with those additions.

Lord knows it will be much more powerful than my L99 with a Vortech and catback.

Edit: I looked at Jannetty and Livernois because we all know they are great performance shops. Neither one of those facilities have packages like you listed that make 500 rwhp. Jannetty's package can probably come real close if you include the results you would get from a good port and polish job on some heads. And with Livernois' $7400.00 heads and cam package, it makes about 465 rwhp with everything you listed PLUS ported intake manifold, plus ported throttle body. So 500 rwhp being easy with the initial items that you listed, I still don't see it.

I doubt it. You will be able to take that blower places I could never go N/A.

Search the threads vs. looking at advertised packages. Give any one of them a call or PM. You will be enlightened.

The LS3 can definitely hit 500 RWHP with H/C/I, the LS1 was doing it years ago.
