Funniest compliments you have received so far?

Yesterday through the Tim Horton's drive thru to get a coffee and I pull up to the window. Girl hands me my coffee and say's "Oh my GOD I love that color" I say thanks and ask for some napkins. She come's back hand's me my napkins and blurt's out " I HATE the car but love the color". I busted out laughing as does she and then she appologized. I told her "No worries at least you like something" smiled and drove off.

Went to breakfast about a month after I got the car in a neighboring tourist town. Walked out to find a group of retirees from WA state looking over the car. Unlocked it and told them to take a look inside. Gentleman took a handerchief out so that he didn't put prints on the door handle. They just loved it and I loved his TLC. Talked for a while and I think their 4 door sedan may be upgraded.

Next trip to the same place, ran into a guy that has one similar to mine. Came out to find some young kid taking pictures of them. Took him a bit to realize it was mine. Very polite and was just in awe.

My favorite was a short road trip to just get some miles on it. Stopped to get gas in a small town. An older gentleman and his wife who drove a nice Caddie walked up and starting asking if it was a V8, manual, etc. Said he could never get in it since he would want one. I asked him if wanted to go for a ride and we were off in no time. I bet he has a new Camaro next time I run into him. He had the biggest grin and laughed like a kid the whole time. His wife didn't look too happy when we got back, but it made my day.

I was filling up gas tonight, and a pickup pulled up across the pump from me. He gets out and says "That's the sickest ride I've seen all day, and I've been driving all day". He then asks if I'm leaving, and I say yes. He says he wants to hear the exhaust, so I start it up and rev it to about 5k, and then head back on out at a normal speed...

Don't drive my 2ss/rs 6m transformer edition very often, but it was a beautiful day so I took it out. Im 60+ so some young people are surprised I own this car. Stopped at a light a guy in early 20's driving an Acura - yells "Thats beautiful - Than he says "Wow do you know that its a Transformer Edition" Im speechless.

The car gets alot of attention...I've had numerous compliments a couple stick out as funny..
1) Pulling through a parking lot and an older gentlman,probably in his 70's looks over and sees me as he and his wife are walking to their car...he stops and turns toward the car....as I drive by him slowly he gives a big thumbs up and starts clapping like he is giving the car a standing ovation...that was awesome.

2) Waiting in line to pick up my daughter from school and 2 teenage girls are going car to car trying to sell tickets to a school play,as they would walk by each car in the line front of me they wouldn't stop unless the person in the car stopped them(not trying to sell too hard lol) I was on the phone as they got to my car so I didn't pay any attention to them and thought they passed on by. When I got finished with the call about 3 minutes later I happened to look out the passenger window and they were bent down looking through the window! I lowered the window and one of the said with a kind of shaky voice "cool window" lol..long story short they jokingly tried to trade me some tickets for the Camaro.

3) Again picking up my daughter from school one day and as she is getting in the car a little boy,probably about 9 yelled out to my daughter..." Don't take the Camaro for granted". I don't know what was funnier,what he said or the "no he didn't" look on my daughters face!

LMAO!! Believe me, I wish I had pics!!!! I also get a kick out of the kids faces glued to the windows of their parents suv's as I pass.

I rented a Camaro from avis and a bmw pulled up in the left lane at a red light and all these guys in suites were they were like kids in the candy store, big smiles and saying oh man wow nice cool awesome sweet as the light turned green and we started to go they all just kept looking taking pic's with there black berries.

My buddy and I pull into a sonic parking spot and order some burgers and fries. We're just talkin waiting for the food and we're sort of in a rush to get back to class and I look in the drivers side mirror and I see this blonde bombshell about my age coming over with our food. my heart jumped a little haha. but anyway she is smokin. When she comes over to my window she looks at me, then the car, then me, then just says " oh my, nice car!" I pay her, and give her a tip too. I started to say something but she runs off to another car. I'm sitting there thinking, well damn. I start up the engine and it's louder than normal bc I got the muffler delete done (highly recommend it). i'm about to back out when i look over and she's running over to my car again. I'm wondering what she's going to ask. she goes, "omg I loooooove your car and how it sounds! can you do me a big favor and rev it up real quick?!" So then i'm like what the hell and ask, "well, i'm kind of in a rush but only if I can get your number real quick" and smile. She goes deal!! so I do and now I have her number.

That just reminded me of a few weeks ago I heard one of those Butt trumpets coming up from somewhere, I kept looking around for a Civic or something like that And low and behold it was a Dang BMW with a coffee can Muffler on it and some rocker type dude driving it with makeup, earrings, tatoos and everything... That was hilarious...

Now to the topic... The other day I went to Chic-fil-A and got out of the Camaro, I was wearing my Yellow Camaro hat and my T-shirt with the yellow Camaro on it, As I walked in a girl asked me "Have you seen one of those new Camaros yet?" I laughed, Pointed over to my car and then she said, "I want one just like that but I can't afford a $40,000 car..."
