That was a great game last night (I'm a huge Phillies fan) - even though it took 40 something hours to finish it. I was in awe when I seen the Camaro on the field.

I'm not sure what he got exactly in terms of a 100% production car or not, but here they are loading his car onto a transport after the game

Why didn't they just give him an SS? WTH is wrong with GM these days? I know they "encourage" everyone to try the LT but hell, at LEAST show the SS side by side with the LT. Advertise the SS also, the LT isn't the only model that is going to sell. Plus I think it is important to start advertising the SS because there are a few differences internally AND externally

NOT SURE WHAT PISSES ME OFF MORE, THE PHILLIES BEATING MY DODGERS IN THE NLCS OR COLE GETTING A NEW CAMARO FOR BEING THE MVP OF THE WORLD SERIES.

KJ

PS REMINDS ME OF A GAME I SAW IN ST LOUIS IN 1993 WHERE A LUCKY FAN WON A BRAND NEW RED 1993 Z/28

These rich players and their families might need a car to haul $hit off to the dump. My point being that while it was a good stage to show the car, he/she won't use it much if at all. They should have had a couple cars there to give away to some lucky fans at the game.

I hope everyone understands that this is marketing, not whether the player needs the car or not (they don't).

The funniest example of this is last year when Kobe Bryant won MVP and got a Kia because they sponsored the trophy presentation (he quickly announced that he would donate the car to a charity).

Heck, at least it is better exposure han giving him an H2.

Regardless, giving the World Series MVP a car has been going on for as long as I can remember and I am 58.

Good product placement and nice way to get that baby on the screen for people to see.

That probably won't be the actual car he receives anyway, since there aren't any regular production vehicles available yet.

what kind of camaro was that?

I saw that the RS badge was red.
I saw that the hood had no scoop.

I was under the impression that the RS badge was only red on the SS's.
I was under the impression that the scoop came on the V8 SS's.

So...what was it?

It was a V6 with the RS package.Probably the same one that was at Indy.

that was the LT/RS show car, so it has the hood scoop
RS badges are red
the SS badge is red in the SS/RS & silver on non-RS
hood scoop comes on both V6 &V8
