Don't believe everything you see on Youtube...go drive a GT500 and come back and tell me you still believe it..
A bad driver can make any car look slow...likewise a great driver can make a mediocre car run some pretty amazing times for that particular car.

The GT500 is a pretty amazing car, performance and looks wise.

Just ran my buddy last night with his GT500. I have to say my camaro gave him a good run. His car has a lot of work done to it. Gears,pulleys on super charger,suspension,tune,exhaust and slicks. I have full kooks exhaust,cai,tune,pulley and stock tires. He beat me by only few cars. If I had a super charger or gears would be different story. Well hitting the garage next week to tear the motor apart then off to find my buddy again.....lol

The Camaro SS should have been S/c from the beginning. GM already had a certified motor that shooots a heavy CTS-v into the 12.2 on stock tire and 3.9 0-60 in automatic.

So we do the standard upgrade. I feel as though my SS is stock , as it Shoul have came with a LSA......and i had an 09 V smooth , powerfull . GM got that one right
and i paid 59k OTD and it was not a stripper. And what a LOOKER.

but its fun to make a Camaro SS into a CTS-V performance wise. You save quite a few $$$ and shock alot of GT500's

BUT I would also make my Camaro smoke it !!!

I like the Mustang GT500 its few & rare in my neck of the nieghborhood. Thats all fun & games, how it goes both ways when side by side we just have to look at each other and give two thumbs up or the chin nob of respect.

The GT500 is my all time Fav car, just cant afford one. Would I trade my new Camaro 2SS/RS for one "NO" noway, I love this car to much. But I hope to own a used one someday. Dodge makes great cars as well. I traded my 06 Charger RT for the Camaro and still own a 05 Magnum RT. It's got 86 less horses and over 300 lbs heavier and still would give the Camaro a good run. I love the SRT Chally's and next year they will have the new HEMI 6.4L and suposed to have over 500HP. Man I love modern power.
