I like it, but I am wondering how the reservoir attaches to the mounting bracket...Is it screwed on over the o-ring or is it just pushed on over the o-ring?

call wilwood and ask them. or summit. or just get it and find out! If it works i might get it too! I would probably just call wilwood bc they make it and clutch products and see if that will work!!

It look slike it fits over the oring, and then there is a band clamp that hold its tight.
Also anybody knwo just how much fluid we should be putting in for the clutch reservoir? i want to make sure there is plenty to dissipate heat.

That one doesn't look very big, at least in the picture. Says its 4 oz? Didn't you say you wanted something that holds a lot of fluid?

Some of the ones out there are VERY small... such as those from the GTO, they seem to be very small for our cars, that is why I thought 4 oz would be better.

I sent an inquiry into Summit racing to ask their professionals about this as well. I want to know how much fluid they suggest should be in a reservoir for a high performance clutch like many of us have on our cars...

I will let you all know what we find out. I will also keep you updated on what works best for us... and hopefully we can get something made up as a Camaro specific kit, and ZZ Motorsports will be able to offer it to Camaro 5 members.

PM me if you need more updates, but I will do what I can to update in this forum as well.

The reservoir on my 99 SS wasn't very big. Probably less than 3 oz. I would think this would be adequate.

The size of the res shouldn't matter for heat dissipation, since the fluid doesn't flow anyway. It's just there so the master cylinder doesn't run dry and allow for some minimal expansion/contraction.

I think the size of the reservoir needs a minimum of 1 ounce fluid capacity and 1 ounce of free space. I THINK 3ounces is preferred/ standard size needed BUT I'm still researching. Bigger wouldn't hurt but when u do a fluid Flush a bigger res will just cost more. The advantage of a bigger one is only the heat disapation which 2 more ounces in my opinion isn't enough to help and will just be that much more expensive per flush! Heat in the engine bay really won't allow it to cool much anyway in my opinion. But I'm not an expert or even a mechanic jus know a descent amount from hands on learning and get knowledge from people with credited experience!

That is what leads me to beleive that a 4oz woudl work well... yes it would hold 4 oz... but I believe we would only be filling it half way correct??

So that leaves us with 2oz in the reservoir and maybe 1/2oz in the lines. I would think that should do the trick nicely.

Has anyone validated that the separate reservoir solves the sticking clutch issue? If so, do you have to perform a complete bleed on the clutch line when you convert over to a single remote reservoir?

Have you ever flushed the reservoir out since you put the GTO unit on?
