What color stripes

might soudn like a noob but, what is the color called of my stripes? im sure yall smart guys can tell from lookin at my car's garage pic.
they arent white, they're a metallic silver color.

They look white to me. Only other color it could be if it was from the factory (Original End Manufacturer). Your car is CGM and the contrast against your stripes clearly shows it is not the same color. White is the only other possibility it could be. Does it look like it has metallic particles in it? Couldn't tell from your garage.

definitely has metallic in it. they looks silver metallic, but i didnt know what the color was called.


and yeah, i def need a new garage pic or two... just havnt uploaded em yet(lazy )

What a sec, did you have them installed when you bought the car? It might be on your invoice sticker. I forget whether or not the Summit White has any metallics to it, but I don't think so.

White on the orange is good looking if you are paying true homage to Camaro heritage, but in this day and age, I'd do something a bit different. You might think black stripes on IOM is too common, but in reality, it isn't that common at all. Most people bought the standout combos like Black with white stripes, black with orange stripes, red with black stripes, yellow with black stripes....Black (gloss or painted) is absolutely outstanding on this car in IOM. No contest in my opinion.

Those look like Silver Ice Metallic (SIM).

I have seen about 10 new Camaro SS's near me and they ALL had black stripes. MANY have said how much they LOVE the white stripes, even another owner of an IOM with black stripes.

I ALWAYS loved the 69 Camaro in orange or blue with white stripes. OR White with orange stripes.

BUT its MY taste.

YOU MUST DECIDE from YOUR HEART.

Go to several dealers on sundays and I think it will help alot. I looked at 15 diff Camaro's this morning in many colors and stripes. But only 1 had white stripes.

TOO many have black stripes.

Also SO many Challengers have black stripes. YUK-Dodge.

I have to agree with Jeff. I vote white all the way. I'm one of the only IOM with white stripes I've seen in my area. I see mostly black around.

ive seen the whit on the ion in person ive yet to see a iom with black but i have a feeling imma go with cgm but im not 100% sure yet still ave to decide
