I paid $249 for my ridergraphix rally stripes, and they're $60-100/hr x 2 hrs to install. So $350-450ish total for vinyl vs about $1600-1800 for painted rallys near DC.

If you can afford painted, go for it! If not, the vinyl stripes still look great, assuming you get them installed correctly
There's no way it would cost that much to paint stripes the place that quoted you must've been on crack

the dealer gave me the contact info for a shop that does some paint work for them. They quoted me $1700 for rally stripes, which I thought was outrageous. Then I looked at my regional board here and here are some paint quotes from various local members...

cm5217: "1750.00 for stock looking stripes with one change...over the wing... he is a little higher than some but he does great work"

rallyfever: "I am using Unlimited out of Warrenton to do my Bumblebee stripes. Cost is 1600 but he completely disassembled the car to paint it. He does great work and I'll have some photos tomorrow evening. Final product will be Friday. "

I know that seems high, but it happens to be the going rate around northern virginia / DC Metro!

Here the Pic of the stripes

Does not match (what do you all think. Should I remove them, change the factory stripes or leave as is)

Personally I think one or the other has to go due to the mismatched color.

I agree with the folks above - they've gotta match.

I am going to see a painter, hopefully he can trace the stripes and remove, then paint them on with inferno orange
Anybody have the inferno orange paint code?
