I would vote Texas Motor Speedway, large track, large hotel, central location. I dont know if they have a dragstrip. And I dont know where we would do a cruise.

However just getting to SGMP was half the fun with all the camaro-vans and then getting visit Florida afterwords.

Is there a camaro purchases map like the population density map Maybe spasticsquirrel can do that?

Dont know if there is a suggestion box but things I would like to see at the next one are -

1. On the cruise have a u-turn so all the drivers can see everyone else in the cruise! That would have been awesome.

2. Pay for the track at the hotel and issue wrist bands there. That way it's faster to get in, just show your wrist band. No waiting on drivers to sign the papers and waiting on people paying with credit card. Maybe there could be one lane open for people paying at the track.

Other than that - everything ran smooth and was AWESOME! Thanks for puttin this together!

It doesn't have drag strip. I think the main draw is the drags... Texas Motorplex (home of the fall nationals) west of Ennis and south of DFW is a top notch drag strip, and they love get-togethers like this, (Super Chevy etc.) but don't know if they would do auto-x...

Dave I agree we are going on 14 years for the Fbody Gathering (it's been held at the same location in Atlanta) and the Eckler's Winter Nationals next year will be 19th Anniversary again same location. To sum it up some times it better to leave it at the same location year after year

...and why not have the wedding at the 2011 Event? hehe - your wedding invitations would be done in like, what? 2 minutes?

That's one hell of a "walk across the threshold" ...on the 1320!!!

If you get married AT C5Fest in 2011 one of your gifts will be a full Pedders Justice Package complete with installation.

Fine Print:

1. This has to be the official wedding ceremony. Use a Justice of the Peace, Minister or Priest, but it would have to be the first set of 'vows'. You can hold your real reception after the event, but I am sure there will be a Camaro-ception Celebration.

2. The bride and groom both must wear, in the most dignified possible style, a little bit of Pedders RED, BLACK and YELLOW.

We'll fly in the Pedders bull, we could do it at the drag strip... we'll help you figure out how to do this in a dignified, but Camaro-fanatic way. This is a HUGE bribe -- Retail is more than $6,3000 and that does not include installation. Your wedding gift will include the bits and the installation. My guess is some of my friends in the business will also have wedding gifts for you. This would be awesome if you would share your special day will all of us at C5Fest while we make your Camaro even more special as a wedding gift. Just thinking out loud in the forum....

This offer is open only to Honey Bee.

We used to go to Reno ( and Sparks to see the car collection ) very often in the 70's and 80's...... then we shifted to Vegas as it grew.
Reno became a little dog eared but when we were there last year we were very suprised how noticeably cleaned up it was. It is a nice drive to Fallon.

The #36 from Susanville to Redding is a really great drive in a sports car. I recommend it to any one who likes to drive fast (legal). Some passengers may need Gravol.

The ford guys have a large shelby mustang show in Tulsa every year with drag racing, autocross, swap meet, car show, vendor exhibits, etc. Here is a link with additional links to Tulsa Raceway and Hallet road track. Its a large event and entertaining weekend but would obviously be much better with bowties!!

They want a venue with all on one site tho, but Hallet's a great track! Too bad no drag strip on site.
