Bowtie replacement with current SS on SLP insert

Sorry for the quality of the shots, I got caught in a rain yesterday on the way to a cruise-in and decided to take a few shots of my Bowtie replacement to share after I wiped the car down while I waited out the rain.

I decided to use the current SS style instead of the first gen supplied with the SLP landing pad. If anyone wants the SS's that come with the landing pad, PM me. I'll include some red vinyl to change them from white too. Or I'll change it for youi. I've already changed one pair. I'll take what they cost from SLP plus a little shipping. I just wanted to keep the current style on the front.

Thanks. Yep. I was waiting on some bigger ones too, but decided to just go with the current emblems. I got two of the rear badges from my dealer and manipulated them. i.e. I cut them in half. with the slant of the badge, I'm not sure how much bigger you can get them to look like they fit properly. I wanted to maintain some gap and also try to keep them together. With the peak in the SLP piece, I brought them to that in the center and lined them up with the bars. It actually looks 'right' in person. Plus, it's still using 5th gen Camaro badges, not a Trailblazer or whatever.

All we need is a company to make the 5th gen SS badges in the same size as the old style SS badges that come with that landing pad and we are in business!!! We need a vendor to step up and make the 5th gen SS badges in a little bigger size to fit. Licensing has been an issue with this complete product getting out, but if the vendors just make the SS 5th gen design in a larger size with no specific usage we as the buying public will know what to do with them.
Come on SOMEBODY please step up and make these badges.

QFT!!!
I've been hounding down vendors trying to get this done and have even contemplated going to a local machine shop to get one made. The vendors here either have damn licensing issues or they say they sell them, but dont respond to your PMs promtly... If no vendors release these by the end of May I'm going to take my front bowtie (as a size and angle reference) and my rear ss emblem (for style reference) to a machine shop and pay to have it done. This sucks. Currently I'm using the SLP landing pad and a painted 06 trailblazer SS emblem for the front. Looks good but no 5th gen good.

Looks nice. I'm not fond of the gold bow ties, but think I'm just going to vinyl them red (like my SS badges) until I decide if I want the Heritage grille or not.

Thankx for sharing the pics.

Thanks. Yeah, I wanted the HG too, but I just hate the fact that the bumper has to come off to install it. One of the guys at Hendricks yesterday said that they are looking at a way to change it so the bumper won't have to come off.

Let me know if you need any red vinyl. A local sign shop gave me a piece about 14" x 8' so I have plenty.
