Zaino is actually a polish, the company calls it show car polish. The first time I used it I thought it was pretty involved but now realize it wasn't that bad. IMO it goes on easier and buffs out alot easier than wax and takes less time. You get a beautiful shine and it feels like clean glass when you run your fingers across it

Do you have a schedule of events for the club? I have had my Camaro for almost a month now. I named her dark side. black on black with some red added in there later. I'm trying to find an after market stripe kit. Has anyone added a new exhaust yet?

If you go thanks2frank.com there is a list of cruises. I've also started a thread called "Utah Cruises" you can check that out for updates. slick1ru, sheslc4, darthv8r and brainhart have all upgraded their exhausts. Jordan of JDP Motorsports comes out to our cruises. He's a Magnaflow dealer. He can hook you up! Great prices and service.

Thanks, that's the kind of stuff that makes being part of a group nice. I'm no going to "show" a daily driven base model but the cruises and stuff sounds fun.

Could never hate anyone who owns a Camaro.I know what you mean. Mine is mostly a daily driver and outside of the axle back exhaust, I have done nothing to mine. Never planned on it being a show car. The get togethers are fun and it is quite interesting to hear people's comments when they see that many in one place. One guy at the last show said "I bet there is almost a half a million in Camaros sitting here". ![]() Look forward to meeting you and your car.

I don't drive mine as much as the rest of the gang. I love taking mine to the Cruise nights. Although the other day at the Hires Cruise there were some old timers giving me s*** for taking a new car to "their" cruise. I just gave it back double barrels! I'll still take it.
I told them "I'll beat you in the 1/4 while I'm shuffling songs on my iPod, you do know what an iPod is don't you"? They kept telling me how 426hp really isn't that much and that the new Camaro's are slow. I just said "Let's meet out at RMR and line em' up"!! They said nothing.....

We got another black camaro (sing the Eddie Murphy, "you ain't got no ice cream" song with this please)!
Welcome bbwolfman! We are all blinded by the beauty of the Camaro and therefore, do not see differences. The only base we know is the "bass" that comes with the stereo. I'll be out of town at the end of the week so no cruise meet up for me this week. Hopefully, I can go May 5. I'm presenting at a conference (YES, they actually let me speak in front of people), on the 6th & 7th so hopefully I'm prepared and ready for a nice break Wednesday before I go. I think a big Camaro grin is a great way to start a conference (SSOOCH do not suggest any other ways, to "start a conference." I'm well aware of all the possibilities ).

Ok, now that I've done that, bbwolfman, bring your car out...they're fun for us, we're not the serious guys who think cool cars are all 40 years old (Don't get me wrong, I love old muscle.....cars that is, but some of these guys take themselves WAY too seriously). The 5th Gen's are still rare, and it would be great to have an LS for people to see (They ask about the model levels all the time) . I drive my car all the time, it's my only car without the pretty flashing lights...so there are several of us who don't have 'show' cars. SSOOCH....next Hires night, I'll be your backup.

So my blackouts for the bowties came. Back went on great and looks great, front, not so good. Didn't seem to fit well and would not flatten even using heat.
So, for those who have done the blackout my question is, where did you get your materials? I'd like to just get some matte black vinyl and make my own for the front, but I haven't found any.
