Two questions:
1) Does it get pretty hot in the sunlight? 2) Any chance you can pinch yourself with the shifter sliding like that? I can just see myself sliding into my hot car, grabbing the shifter, pinching the heel of my hand shifting into reverse, and branding "BARTON" into my palm |

You wont pinch yourself The grip is very ergonomic, when you grab the shifter your hand will fall right inline with the contours of the grip. You would have to intentionally put a finger under the grip to do so
As far as it getting hot... It will get as warm as the rest of the car.. The nice thing about aluminum is that it dissipates heat very fast, Which means it will rapidly cool down as the rest of your interior does. |

I can't wait
I just ordered mine. 4/23/10. lets see how long it will take to recieve it. I even screwed the order up by ordering the ss instead of the rs knob. I emailed them telling of my dumb mistake. I am sure it will corrected because they monitor the site.
