12.7-13.3 > 12.9-13.4
But you can't compare numbers, they have to be on the same day.

12.8 against 13.2 is still a considerable difference.

So are you saying we should ignore the 12.58 or whatever it was the Camaro is suppose to have ran since it was on a different day?

Maybe I should ask this instead. What does it make a difference the car still ran the time it did and nothing anyone can say will change that fact?

Nothing. In that case the camaro is still the fastest. It has run a 12.58.

Not at all fair because we havent got any private owner times yet from the mustang...but it is what it is at the moment.

I won't say people are lying in their runs but going off what is posted on the internet is a lot less reliable than printed times in a major publication.

Very true.

LSR performance that ran a 12.61 has a video of the run, it was also the company car baseline....they would have to be idiots to run mods on the baseline in effect downgrading the effectiveness of their products. I would probably call this the most reliable fastest time (not to discredit nhra stocker, but just to be technical)

And I would agree with the first part. And your right it is to soon but if what MT got is any indication of what is capable then I see some easily matching the 12.5 of the Camaro.

Sure...but given the 109-111 traps the 5.0 is putting up consistently (mirror of the camaro) I dont see how it can go much faster than 12.4 or possibly 12.3 with a 110 trap on street tires. The cars are very evenly matched.

You might get someone to squeak out a high 12.3 from one. I am thinking the best times you see stock are going to be in the 12.4x range.

Anyone who believes the GT is faster than the GT500 is retarded to begin with.

Even at a 12.7 the GT is considerably slower than the GT500.
