I merged the threads. If you look at the time which Dragoneye made his post and the time when you created yours, you'll see that yours came a few hours later. When the system merges threads, it merges them in chronological order, and that's the reason yours is the 17th post in the merged thread.

Silver stipes would look great, my uncle has a similar combo on his z28, heads turn everywhere.
Those neighbors are sooooo dam lucky!
He probably wakes up to see many, and i mean MANY fingerprints on the car
Should there be some running around Oshawa now? Or in Toronto?!!!

Not your Grandfather's Camaro.....but it is his color.

Sorry I'm not a fan of maroon/dark red/crimson/pt cruiser colors on muscle cars. It is a nice color indeed, just seems out of place on this car IMO. Flame on if you must, just throwing in my 2 cents.

It is still between Imperial Blue Metallic and Red Jewel Tint Coat for me. But, after seeing these photos it makes it very hard not to choose this color. If I get blue, I will get white stripes with blue metal flake; if red, I will get white stripes with red metal flake. I really want the pearl effect on my painted stripes!!!

I looked for a post before I posted this but didn't see anything... guess I didn't look hard enough. Like I said, no big deal... it's just gets a little annoying after the 5th time. I'll just keep my new threads to myself from now on since it seems I always get beaten to the punch.

wow this color is amazing. now if i can convince my dad to drop the blue and go with red jewel tintcoat. this car would look very VERY good with black stripes. this color gives the car a more high end look to it and adding a white stipe would take away from that. the black stipe would be noticable but not so much as the white.

actully when i think about it this color look very much like the burgandy on my 70 z28, except this seems to be more red. its a beautiful color when brought it in the sunlighjt like the pic of the vette shows.

This is the nicest dark red I've ever seen on a car

You get much darker and it starts becoming gray, not silver

Here's one more picture. I emailed the poster on the other forum and he said that his brother-in-law only had the car for a night and it went back to GM that morning. He's hoping he'll get another one soon.

The guy didn't say. His post on the other forum said that both him and his brother in law work for GM.
