If you know you're gonna get a ticket...
"It's about time you stopped me, I've been speeding thru here every day for the last 3 years."

"I just wanted to see how fast this thing would go."
"If I get home late from the bar, my wife gets pissed." "I gotta crap." (Add "Bad!" if you were driving really fast.) "This is my first manual and I couldn't figure out which one was the brake." "Because I didn't know you were sitting back there." |

That one makes me think:
"I didn't know an aging Crown Victoria could go that fast!"

If you really want the ticket:
"To see if you would really put the donut down." "To make you stand out in the rain." "To give you something else to do besides sleep in the median back there." |

MY fav one to give is "Sorry sir I dropped my drugs and as I was reaching down for my bag of crack, my gun fell off my lap and got lodged between the gas and the brake forcing me to speed out of control."
Or "Didn't I see your ass get kicked on COPS?" or "You had to be doing at least 125 to keep up with me...Good Job!" |

Story from the State Highway Patrol
State boy pulls over a lady for speeding. He walks up to the window and of course asks, "Ma'am, do you know why I pulled you over?" Lady replies,"Yes officer, I know I was going a little fast." He says, "That's right. Could I see your license and registration please." About then she starts to plead with him not to give her a ticket."....oh please, if you could see your way to not giving me a ticket I promise to buy a ticket to the policemans ball." To which the officer replies without even stopping to think. "That's very nice ma-am, but the Highway Patrol doesn't have balls." After a moment of awkward silence the officer returns her license and registration with a short and quick, "Have a nice day ma-am." |

A friend of mine got pulled over one time. When the officer asked him why it took him so long to pull over, he said "You didn't think I was going to make it easy for you, did ya?" He couldn't understand why the officer took two hours to tear his jeep apart after that.
