Have some damage to the driver side mirror to get Matson to pay for, hopefully it doesn't take too long, but otherwise if you see an SS/RS IBM rollin around with Wisconsin Newman Chevrolet (thanks Camaro Scotty ) dealer tags, that would be me!

The wait is over! Yay... Ok, back to your regularly scheduled programs!

Congratulations on an awesome purchase!

Anyone going out to the HICN at winward mall tommorow night? I should be there. I really like this HICN location becuase it has big space, shopping, food, and bathrooms nearby.

Anyone know an inspection station that doesn't care about putting the stickers on one of the beside-the-license-plate plates?

I'd prefer not to stick them on the paint, as I am still deciding what exactly I want to do with my paint job.

Thanks,
James

Yup did the same and already transfered it to besides the plate.

Theres gotta be a company here that can sell you a small strip of clear vinyl.

Servco leeward inspector would not pass my rear tires. Said at 30% of fender height, tire did not clear. I took it to lex Brodie and they passed it. Both inspectors did not know about the repeal of license plate height limit. Geez

will need to look at "options" if I touch the suspension since droped cars require recon and recon requires decent suspension travel when they press down on car. Too bad this car probably won't pass recon with the stock fe3 suspension.

Need to work on my sub level control and blinder switch mount bracket this afternoon. I don't want to drill into the center console panel or dash.

Cut grass and clean yard... wife happy, now guy time with car. Do not disturb.

Next week? Would mind seeing how the footwell lights are mounted and wired. Getting together for cruise night or other?

Decided to install my MGW shifter today, I started and got the OEM shifter out, then it starts raining...

Mind you, I don't have a garage and I was doing this in my house parking stall, so now I'm trying not to get the interior wet, trying not to get the tools wet, trying to keep myself as dry as I could (haha yeah that didn't happen) and squeezing under the car to do this on ramps.

IT'S DONE!!! But it was quite the experience. It was fun, but I could have done without the rain. I took it for a quick drive and WOW I love the shifter. Maybe because it is a new experience with the car. Maybe it is because I did it all by myself and its something I can claim as my own. Maybe it's just psychological and nothing has changed at all!

If anyone is interested in seeing it in person or testing it out, let me know and maybe we can hook up. I went on a gut feeling and it worked out for me, if you aren't into the gut feelings, I can totally understand that! I'll post pics sometime, maybe, if it stops raining. But don't bet on that being today

Ok, I'll stop rambling now. Cheers all!

Racing, gripper, or retro?

Just replaced my gripper with the retro 2 weeks ago. I really like the retro, but the shifter knob is a little higher. Centering springs will loosen after 500-750 miles. You won't be disappointed compared to stock.

Enjoy, but beware... the mods won't end until you stop looking.

I finally got my car back together again this evening. It was laid up for a week while I figured out how to mount some things on the front bumper and run the wires into the car. I ended up drilling two 1/8" holes in the hood release firewall groumet. I don't like drilling/cutting the firewall unless absolutely necessary.

Funny thing, my garage is full so I used my living room as my work area for the front bumper fascia. My wife was a little surpised when she got home that first night and saw my car front end as she walked in the door. LOL
