They got a 2.1 60 and trapped 110. They werent spinning THAT bad. Also every test of the mustang to date has been trapping 107-112. They picked up 6+mph with less than 40hp. That is a little odd.

Also...they only ran what...a 12.49 @ 112 trap speed on slicks and some suspension work before the power modifications? They gained a half second and 5mph from ORX, cat-back and tune?...sounds like they sand bagged just a little in the first place to showcase their products.

Don't forget the stock run was the first time they ran the car. They drove it straight from the dealership there so it was literally the driver's first time launching that car ever. I wouldn't assume they sandbagged, but it's possible. I think it's more likely that whoever is driving is just getting better at it and the car may be breaking in a bit also. The driver has still only made like 5 passes in the car. The times and even trap speeds will probably just keep getting a bit better as the car breaks in and the driver learns when to shift, how to launch, etc.

I definitely don't believe they ran the car stock to it's potential.

Last time I read they had about 12 passes so far. The stock clutch is history as well....thats not very impressive IMO...looks like both the camaro and mustang need a better clutch.

Ruh roh Raggy, that time would rank third on this site's fastest bolt-on Camaro list and they've had the car for all of a week. Looks like crow will be on the menu for a few guys here.

the first 60' aint the only time you can spin the tires, especially on the new mustang.

sounds about right. The 2011 SMS Mustang is rated at 440hp and a 116mph trap speed.

They were on ET streets. Slicks would 60' better than a 1.7 if the clutch handled it.

Of course they didn't. I'd love for one, just one member here to speak up and claim they ran their best ever times on the first night they had their car at the track, much less coming literally straight from the dealership. I personally went from a best of 13.7@102 my first night to 13.4@105 the very next time out. With an $80 airlid it went 13.1@109 but of course some of that gain can be attributed to experience and practice. When

Count me as one Camaro owner who is DAMN inpressed that this car is running bottom 12's with just a tire, very basic boltons and a preliminary tune. No excuses here, just giving credit where it's due. That time would rank third on this site's list of fastest bolton fifth gen Camaros and they've had the car for all of a week. It definitely suggests we will see far better than low 13's at around 110 in stock form as time goes on.
