However, this is the drag race that resulted in the 12.7 GT time and the 13.1 SS time? I figured four tenths was about four car lengths?
No this was not the drag that the GT went 12.7. That was a silver car. And the cars were run one at a time.

2nd gear for the mustang tops at 60mph
2nd gear for the camaro tops at 77mph

4th gear for the mustang tops at 110mph
4th gear for the camaro tops at 157mph (electronic limiter) WTF!!

Is it me or are the Mustang wheels horrible looking?

I have the ut most respect for the new Mustang, but you guys crack me up.
You post this on a Camaro site(why, I don't know, well actually I do know) and then sit back and watch the show and then have the nerve to go "here we go again" when someone questions your post. Funny stuff.

These are the same cars from the review, right? So this IS the car that ran the 12.7, just not on this video I guess.

Yeah, weird.

Also, someone was saying the actual magazine article quotes them getting a 12.8 to the SS' 12.9 in the comparison. Oddness.

Definitely by the video it looked like a pretty close finish. 12.8 to 12.9 looks to be right.

I don't quite understand why they'd change around the numbers after the original article was published. Odd.

I would have liked it better if when they put up the HP and TQ numbers, they would have put the weight of the car too.

WOW....that was a close race.

Cool post.

Makes me even more annoyed that they published the 13.1 in the original comparison. I knew they could run 12's with the camaro...they had done it before. They seem like they are being selective of who drives the camaro and what times it shows compared to the mustang.
