Another Illinois Route 66 driving tour with pics
A few weeks back I was inspired by member ScottZ28 and his Route 66 pics so I went ahead and took my own little Route 66 tour this past weekend. My Dad and I drove the old road as much as we could and stopped at about 15 stops to hang out and take pics. I built the itinerary online and picked out all the stops we wanted to see and went from there. We hit up vintage diners and drive-ins for food and root beer and saw a bunch of vintage gas stations and landmark statues from the old road. We had an amazing time and I made some memories with my Dad that will last us forever. Enjoy the pics guys.

Cool pics. Thanks for sharing. Hope one day I'll be able to make the trip all across the States on Route 66. It's been a dream I've had since I started hearing about that route way back when...
