It must be the heat shields. I'd love it if they were like the old 5.0s' equal length ones, but I don't see that happening. I think there's too much heat lost from the tubes before getting to the cats'.
If U can take my shields off though, I am If I didn't have to worry about smog and law enforcement I'd get some LTs, but that's not going to happen with this car.

Those shorties are stainless with heat-shields. You see the shields. I'm gonna guess they're close to $800. Before you piss-n-moan about that price, investigate SS exhaust.
Don't asume they're worthless just because you think they're ugly, you may end up with egg on your face.

I think it's really cool that GM is making it available to almost recreate both concept cars.
Silver 2SS/RS with IOM accent peices through GMPP or IOM 2SS/RS vert (2011) with cyber gray strips and 21" cyber gray wheels through GMPP Hopefully they odder a white interior with the vert. |

If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it - especially when you have no data to support your assertions. Besides, some people aren't lucky enough not to have to remain compliant within smog laws.

Am I reading this right. The LS3 for the camaro is now 430 horse, and 444 torque just like the Vett.
