Question About Interior Options

hey guys like you I am super excited about the new Camaro. I do have two questions maybe someone can help me with.

1) I don't see an AUX jack to plug in something like an MP3 player. Do we know if this will come with or maybe as an option? I could have sworn I heard of this with the Camaro before, but I dont see it in the interior shots.

2) I never tried OnStar but I am willing to give it a shot. I was curious, if you were to guess do you think the radio display will show the turn that is needed to be made along with the voice navigation like a lot of OnStar cars have these days?

That's it, thanks in advance.

1. I believe there will be an auxiliary jack.

2. Onstar is "voice" driven, meaning when using it for navigation, a voice will provide the directions. I do not believe anything will appear in the radio.

1) It's located in the arm rest between the seats. I don't think it's standard though and you have to get the BA sound option to get it.

2) No. There is no nav screen.

Wasn't it announced directions were going to be displayed in the information center between the speedo' and the tach'; well, just arrows or something like that, not an actual display of street shots or anything?...

Yeah guys that's what I am referring to, the arrows that suppose to show up either on the HUD or the radio display. I heard the same thing, just curious if this was common knowledge or not.

From what I've seen that is true. The turns should appear on the radio and/or more likely, the DIC.

The aux input is shown as being standard on all models in the ordering workbook.

The aux input is between the seats in the armrest. It is standard on the Camaro. THe USB port is an option.

first wave of cars won't have screen type nav. it will be audio turn by turn until fall of 2009., as stated in the console. usb connection is part of the conectivity package. standard on 2SS.

Do you guys know if with the USB you get an iPod interface. This way the iPod can be controlled from the radio and the iPod can just sit in the console.
