Thats real encouraging jnm2003, I have not have mine out much with all the rain lately but Last Sunday, I played around a little from a dead stop. The tires spun and I let off but NO stinky clutch so I too am encouraged. As long as I don't see a cluch petal stuck half way out, I will be a happy man.

I've already had the Stinky clutch smell, just backing her up in my driveway. No matter as that's not as important as the sticking. She she only has a few miles on her from the new clutch, I will wait a bit before pushing it. It was just done on Friday.

well im still talking with my service manager and he says the part number is good but its not for the camaro. so i wonder where this magic number comes from. He is battleing with GM on what to do, seems they dont like to call him back on this little problem. Either way my car will get fixed, my service manager and i just want to do it right.

Funny, today I went to my Chevy dealer and chatted with the dealership manager - they fixed the scratches they made - through the clear coat - in my car. He thanked me for giving them the heads up about the clutch issues. Says GM is aware and working on it. Not sure to give that any merit, but they did come through and change it all for me.

![]() ![]() . Ok I have a 1000 miles on the car now and decided to spin the tires a littel, I did and smoked my clutch bad, it stuck half way up and I had to grab it and pull it up. I printed the link you provided. So do I just take this to my dealer and tell them this is the fix? Anything else I should tell them? Thanks

Yup, I agree with Deerta. My service guy could not reproduce the problem, other than a smelly clutch. he took my word though, I sent him all the info, and ordered the parts.
The dealership manager thanked me for bringing the issue to his attention before GM acted on it. So, do go somewhere else...

Spoke with GM regarding this and they didn't have any record of issues like this. They DID suggest going to another dealer. They actually helped find a dealer to help me out. GM has been VERY good about solving warranty issues. The reason I bought a first year run of the Camaro is because GM was very helpful with warranty issues with my Silverado. They took care of every little compaint included in the bumper to bumper, without any hassles. So impressed, I bought a Camaro while waiting for service. Decent miles per gallon and MANY smiles per gallon!
