When I get my SS it's going to be my DD too, I just cannot see myself dropping all this money on this amazing car and keeping it in the garage. And yes I will drive it in the rain in snow too, just throw some snow tires on there and everything will be just dandy!

I use the SS as my daily driver. I've had it 2 months and just turned over 5400 miles on it. In my opinion, the extra costs for gas/oil changes are worth it. To each his own, but I think if you are on the fence, get the SS.

drivin it as my daily driver right now, not sure what i'm going to do in the winter yet though .. the price of a good set of snow tires can buy me a beater. I'm paranoid when dust gets on it now, nevermind when the salt and dirt comes in the witner. ahhh

I bought the car to drive and I still prefer the V8 over any other engine combo. So right now it will be 16 to 20 MPG on Premium (Shell) and I can live with that. It is what you want overall. Save gas? Or have great power when you step on it? It is a matter of what you can live with.

How far do you live? I live 5 miles from work and have been filling up once a week (i got out on the weekends and stuff too). I told myself I would drive conservatively to and from work... but its too fun not to. I punch it at least once on my way to work every morning.

-cars are meant to be driven.

I've had plenty of garage queens....and intended to make the Camaro one...but I really love to drive it so it has became my DD.
On a side note I added Headers and a tune and my avg mileage for my commute has increased about 2-2.5 MPG...at 19.6(with some spirited driving everytime I get in it) it is about 5 MPG better than my truck. I'm more than happy with that,actually suprised lol.
