Is there going to be a meet up spot down here to cruise up together (Carls, Sonic...). I am just going to watch and photograph this time. Next time I will have my suspension done!

If they're mounted on the OUTSIDE of the car, make sure they're zip-tied rather than suction mounted.
The one I have can withstand above 135mph. Well tested!!

Since the Pontiac G8 was allowed into the Camaro group, How do you think they will compare to the Camaro on the track. There are a lot of similiarities between the Camaro and the G8. Any thoughts?

My modded G8 GT (CAI and tune) did a 13.1 @ 107 mph, but interested in see how it will do on this course.

Driver skill will be the determining factor.

I don't care how fast or slow you drive, don't touch MY car!

Be skilled enough for that, and I'm happy, no matter how slow I will be

7:00am Gates open

7:05am bathroom break

7:30am driver meeting

7:35am bathroom break

Drink 2 cups of coffee

9:00am WOOHOO On the track

9:06am bathroom break...
had to wait for d69chris = 9:05am

This WILL be a lot of Fun! There is plenty of room on the track and several video's that I have seen show guy's "spinning out" in a group of car. They spin to the edge and everybody holds their line and drive right past.
Based on my last trip to the dragstrip, I will be looking out for the G8's... Those guy's were kicking some ass!

Really looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones, and getting to drive the car the way it was made too!!!

5 days 12 hours and 28 mintes

yes, it will be a fun event if we all can drive out of there and have no damage (mechanical or physical damage).

It will be nice to meet all you camaro guys. I think I know of 3 G8s that are going, not sure who all signed up.

My name is Hunter and I have white G8 that is really loud... (ecutouts).

Looks like I'm coming out for some fun too, but mine's a bit more "vintage" than most of you guys.

Rule #1: It's all about the line.
Rule #2: It's all about the line.
Rule #3: It's all about the line.
