You know back when I lived in Phoenix I occasionally used to get stuck behind "lowriders". It was a two part thing; annoyance at being stuck behind a car that basically has no suspension to absorb bumps and has to drive less than 25 MPH on even the smoothest of roads
 , and the comical amusement watching them bounce in the seat like giant whack-a-moles over even the tiniest of bumps, almost hitting their heads on the ceiling . Almost like they thought "what is the most impractical and expensive thing I can do to my car that will basically render it virtually undrivable."If you think the Camaro is heavy, image how much that one weighs with the hydraulics, rams, plumbing, and electronics in it. Not to mention the trunk full of batteries to power it all. Perfect example of more money than sense. And if you like that low "in-the-weeds" stance you can simply "bag it" with much less expense and still have a car with a working suspension that you can drive normally. |
