Anyone see this "new" one on chevymall? Looks like it's designed for indoor use.

I kinda felt dirty reading the description

When I first got my car I bought the GM cover and used it frequently. One day when the car was parked out in the sun I noticed scuff marks on the along the front fender edges and along the rear fender edges on both sides of the car. The cover fits so tight that it causes this when you take it on and off. I know they will polish out but I was shocked when I noticed this. I bought the cover to protect my car from my neighbors cats but I think the cover has done more damage than the dam cats would have. To answer your question yes the GM cover will scratch your paint.
