I plan on teaching my niece age 16 and 17 (the younger one once she is 16), I think this is a much more forgiving car than my GTO I started teaching them with. Atleast it just stalls if there is not enough gas when you release the clutch, no bucking like many cars. What's the worst that can happen, assuming you trust her driving in general, you have to put a new high performance clutch in sooner? Just get a wide open area to start off in before getting to busier streets.

Mine will be learning on our Jeep.
Then we'll talk about the Camaro!

It's a lot of power period.
For a learner? Yeah.. I dunno.

Just my $.02 worth.... HELL NO! She's got her own car. Mine is not a daily driver... And its the first new car I've had for myself in 30+ years of marrage. But she loves to ride along with me. And I love having her next to me. But know bodies driven my girl but me...

I learned to drive in my dad's 78 Chevy Truck 4 Speed and have had many manuals since then. The Camaro is one of the easiest IMOA

Absolutely let her!!!
My wife drives mine all of the time as she did with my last two corvettes.
First, you get to have fun together teaching her.
Second, If Momma's not happy, nobody's happy.
