Hey Ivan....I will be into work before 8 today! At least 7:45 so come on by!!! Can't wait to experiment with the vinyl and come up with some custom idea!!! Don't worry I will share! I'm up for ideas on the cruise, looks the weather is going to improve as time goes on....The 6th should be a blast! Come on people!!! Any ideas out there! We could always cruise over to Lomas and Eubank Sonic and at least be pretty visible to a bunch of people! We could take them over! Fill up all the bays! Well off to get ready for work!

Sonic?? Hmmm, that's sort o high school hang out not to mention every sonic is a bunch of assholes.

Depending on the amount of people, the turquoise trail (highway 14 I think) in the east mountains all the way up to Madrid is probably the nicest "drive". Wide open desserted roads and if you make it to Madrid (10 minutes from Santa Fe), there's an awesome bar that escapes my mind right now that Val Kilmer hangs out at.

Val is a different person for sure....definitely not the IceMan he used to be. We've ran into him several times. eh...I guess I'd be a flake if I were in Top Gun back in the day too...lol

As I digress...

Beth, heading your way in about 30-45 minutes..USPS at it's finiest today (changed my plans once again) I'll call you when I get close.

I'm down for a SR 14 cruise...definitely southwestern for sure. Good ride.
Let's start getting some potential ideas on a date for that...anybody??

Also, who is in on the Track Day (Next Saturday the 22nd??) Talked to Curtis yesterday, it's definitely a go on their end. More than a deal for us to go out and support them and have a great time.

If you consider going and don't wanna run your car, you don't have to. And you aren't even obligated to pay! Win/Win for everyone. If you just want to go to hang out, I'd be down to take anybody up there with me. No problem.

Let's get some more heads up there. I think we had what, 6 of us finally show and it still seemed like a ghost town. Plenty of room up there for everyone.

Keep the thread moving and get some ideas on the Cruise.

Weather is gonna be looking great here shortly....let's take advantage of it!

Have a phenominal weekend guys!
-Ivan

PS-We're doing another Camshaft install tomorrow at my house on a WS6 if anybody is bored..... Shoot me a text or call if you wanna come by.

Indeed, the SMS Track Day is still on for the 22nd! If you wish, we can do the same thing: meet at the Hotel Albuquerque Old Town (the old Sheraton) at 7:30 AM and caravan out to the Speedway. We'll have the track from 8:00 AM to noon. We're hoping to have more folks out there, including the Viper Club.

As Ivan said, there's no pressure to run your car . It's up to you. You can hang out and watch others race their beasts . Jim Guthrie should be there again for some instruction.

I'm sure the burritos and coffee will be served. It's a fun time.

Ivan: thanks for dropping by yesterday. I know you were in a rush, but next time you're in the area, drop by again and I'll show you the 1969 Camaro RS I have stored in the garage covered up in junk. We'll have to dig through it all to find it .

Enjoy!

Curt

Can I swing by oh...nowish!??? lmao...I totally cannot wait to see that rig.

Prolly best I don't. I'm stealthly shopping for one...don't tell the wife.

Yeah, really cool to see you guys. I now remember seeing your car with the Temp Tags on it....just like it was last week.

As far as the Track Day....man. Really. I'm gonna tell you now. If people don't go just for the sheer awesomeness of seeing rubber flying off a Camaro in a 4 wheel drift....I might have to re-evaluate my positions as friends with some of you! LMAO ...

I still can't believe the "gratis" tub of Ocean Spray juices, Coffee, made to order Breakfast burritos....that stuff was redonkulous. lol

Start scheming...planning out your "sick day" at work...plotting...convincing the wife or husband you're going shopping...whatever it takes.

Be there.

Larry....touch bases with Curtis (CJingle) when you get a moment. He's got something for you.

8 days and a wakeup...get it on!

Open invite for tomorrows Cam install too...just give a call.

OUT!
Ivan

Thumbs up

Just a heads up everyone. "Roadrunner fun run Car Show" is tomorrow at "Sandia Casino & Resort", 12:00 to 4:00. Staged my car today in the ballroom and I'm the only 2010 Camaro. I"m competing with some really NICE cars and some are very big bucks. There is even a helicopter inside with us but not in the competition. Come by and check it out and vote for me. Theres alot of cars in the fun run as well so there will be alot to look at on a nice day finally.

Oh and while I was waiting out front for my wife Michael McDonald was warming up with the band for tonight's concert. They were playing some of the old "Doobie Brothers" tunes, brought back alot of good memories.

Hope some of you make it out!!!!!!!!!

Hey zz, hope to make it out to sandia tomorrow to give you my vote. I also hope to make Saturdays track event, Friday I'm going to install my cherry bomb cat back so hopefully my car will no longer sound like my wifes mkz. Lol. I've only heard the cherry bomb on line so tough to tell what they really sound like, but for the price can't go too wrong.
