Don't throw out your BA amp.

If anyone has removed their BA audio amp to make way for a new amplifier and you are just going to throw the amp away, let me know. I have some ideas I am working on that would/might require the use of parts from the amp.

PM me if you have one to get rid of. Not looking to purchase the amp but might be interested in covering shipping costs.

I was talking to someone yesterday who didn't have the boston system in their car. They said they heard the harnesses were all present. He's supposed to check and verify. If indeed the harnesses are all in place, that means two things. A. guys could buy a used boston amp and just plug in to power their speakers, and B. our rca harness would plug in at the same location and it would make adding a sub to the non BA system a lot easier. Again it's highly speculative until someone with non BA can verify. I'm not sure I'd ditch it for nothing. I bought a used one for testing and it cost me over a hundred.

For what I am thinking on it doesn't matter. It will be broke after I get it though.

Um, I don't have the BA system and have been wanting to do something with my car, amp wise. Tell me where to look and I'm there. I've been wanting to ask if the OEM harness is already ran to power the stock amp. Steve, I've seen the RCA adapter that's coming in and it looks great, but don't know what to do without the BA system, lol!

Car's in paint now, but let me know where to look!

On the driver's side of the trunk, behind the carpet. It would run down the back side of the fender and would be part of the harness for the rear lights. It separates out toward the back on the BA version with 3 connectors. Hopefully all three connectors are present with jumper harness connecting them. That would be ideal. Hopefully we'll get lucky, but who knows.
