Dreading Holes In My Front Bumper

So I've recently just made a deal on a new Victory Red 1LT/RS camaro at my local Chevy dealer! The only thing is, the car is 280 miles in Texas, me living in Louisiana. They're going to have it moved here by the end of the weekend hopefully.

I know Texas has the front license plate law and all, but thankfully here in Louisiana we can get by without one. The thing is, I've located pics of my future car and it already has the front plate attached. :(

I'm dreading removing the plate to find holes drilled in my new camaro's bumper. Can anyone please tell me if some dealers take the time to install these plates without damaging the front of the car? If worse comes to worse, I plan on going to bumperplugs.com and finding some quick and easy fixes there.

Heres a pic! Maybe someone can tell me if this is fastened through drilling or not...

I don't know why they installed the plates before delivery. They usually ask the buyer first.

Don't know why, but every Camaro at the dealership where I purchased mine, if it was ordered by/for the dealership inventory, they put the front plate on.

You'll have four holes.

Not to worry, many places make plugs (as you've already mentioned) that can be installed and you'll barely notice them. I had flat black on my Imperial Blue 2LT and I only noticed them while looking for them.

It really isn't as bad as it seems.

I figured as much :(

Just wondering if anyone else went through the process of repairing some drilling damage with products like these. Seems to cover up most of the damage while still remaining moderately un-noticeable. These coming from bumperplugs.com

The told me no stickers or plate brackets when I ordered.

One of of two wasnt bad I guess.

The sticker came off in about a minute.

I think it will be OK. You can always tell people that it is front sensors of some sort.

Have you tried telling the dealership that you do not want the front plate on there & asking them to swap out the bumper with a new one?

They may tell you they won't but they also may say no problem.
It's a new car & not a used one right? If so, you should get a new car, without holes drilled in it.

When my wife bought her Saturn Ion quad coupe, she didn't want the spoiler... the quad coupe they had on the lot had the spoiler, the four door didn't.

They tried to talk her into taking that one & paying for the spoiler... They said they couldn't remove the spoiler from the one they had there because it would leave holes in the trunklid.

She told them they had three choices:
1) find one without the spoiler for her
2) swap the trunk lids of the two they had on the lot & make what she wanted
3) throw in the spoiler for free, which she didn't really want since she didn't like the look of it.

Her car was delivered on time & does not have the spoiler

4 holes..? Really?

Man, I was thinking just two, but I'll have to wait and see. Official plugs from that website aren't cheap. $25 for a pair, and $5 of shipping, almost makes me consider just leaving the plate on...
