They do generally seem to have it out for American Sports cars. I think it's because of the road-racing heritage of Europe. Their cars focused more on handling and ours focused on raw ungodly power. They don't expect us to be able to do both in a reliable well-balanced package. The episode where they test the Z06 is very similar (link to vid: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/942570..._ultimate_zo6/).

He dogs Corvettes in general at the beginning, then starts to warm up to it and it's capacity as a sports car, then it proceeds to put down one of the fastest lap times on their board. By the end they love it. I do hope they get a hold of the Camaro next season. Like to see what The Stig can do with it on the track.

I got chills at the part where Jeremy is drifting around that turn in the ZR1 and loving it.

They've actually been pretty favorable towards American muscle. Before these three, Hammond gave a positive review of the Mustang, and Clarkson basically bowed down before the Ford GT.

I think they just harp on American cars because we have muscle and they never have.

They harp on American cars because that is what their core audience expects them to do... And they do it to all other countries as well since stereotypes make for funny jokes..etc.. This was my favorite episode by far, however the funniest has to be Clarkson taking a very tiny car to work, and drives it around inside the building.. Just search on youtbe for Top Gear smallest car..

problem is the highly opinionated will sometimes take their stereotypes as hardcore facts without even driving the cars
