Rule one when stopped never admitt to anything ever. They will use it in court. Love this line, do you know why I stopped you or you know how fast you were going? Yeah speed limit.

With CA going bankrupt, cops are out to tax you (i.e., write tickets) to collect more $ for the government. If I lived there, I'd invest in a good radar detector or two. I'm going out there for vacation in a few weeks, and you better believe it, I'm driving the speed limit.

However, there were other cars in the fast lane (I was actually in the slow lane), and a car or two behind me, so maybe I'll try some bullshit excuse and go the trial by written declaration to contest it. No hurt in trying lol.

Yeah, his comment was great.
You Just want an excuse to go on another road trip

I disagree, I've gotten out of plenty of tickets from cops and judges alike by just admitting exactly what I was doing wrong at the time. Sometimes, honesty really is the best policy.

And on those occasions where it didn't work, oh well, it's not like I didn't do the crime knowingly.

I've been pulled over three times with my car. and all three times they have let me go. one of the cops looked like he was fresh out of high school. he took my DL and registration, walked towards the back of my car and he was checking it out from head to toe.

he then gave me my documents back and said, "sweet car man. try to take it easy in my area." he then let me go without a ticket.

talk about being lucky.

Yes, let's break the law even more. Brilliant idea. Why not rob a bank with an invisible cloak you can buy at Toys R Us?

Don't forget to get your Harry Potter glasses also when you get the cloak
