Are the pieces stiff like plastic or is it soft and extreamly flexable like a bubble sticker?

they are pretty flexible, but the are stiff enough to where it would be hard to rip (at least the bigger pieces)

The way we make the pieces are we lay down 3m double sided tape, than we place a veneer over it weather it is a wood, carbon fiber, modern material. Than we place a urethane coating on top of the piece. They are slightly flexible so this way they can be contoured to the location they need to be installed. The urethane coating is what protects the material from ripping and being damaged. The Real Brushed Aluminum and the Real Chrome are the only materials that do not have a urethane coating because you can actually feel the materials.

Can't see the pics either. I'm nervous. I ordered the SOrange and in the pics here it looks lighter than on the Carid website. That color isn't going to look good with my IOM. I'm not going to be happy with the orange.. :(

here is a vid and some pics of the blue CF trim I installed, if your noticing the piece that came up off the the console no worries- the provided adhesive promoter took care of it in a jiff. I noticed it after shooting the vid. Mirror piece seem's wrong but other than that it is a pretty decent product. Not all pieces will be staying on but I'll give them all about 2 weeks and decide what I don't like. 2 pieces i forgot to video are the "unused hud switch" area and glove box latch

looks like the pictures are working, for those who cared.
also unless you want that exact color there's lot of other pics, especially in the carid dash kit thread. |
