I was going to go but I want to install my new clutch before I hit the tracks again.

Hey John, send me a PM if you get this message on your phone. I'm down to chill with you guys afterward again.

Sorry John I didn't get your reply, went out the door as soon as I posted.

The track was prepped MUCH better. Since it was a race day they limit your test and tune passes to three and I'm not interested in bracket racing. I ended up being able to get one extra pass in because they were cool so I got a total of 4.

The first pass I made with about 19psi in the Nitto's and ran an 11.8 @ 121 with a 2.1 60'.

Next pass apparently the car rolled forward or backward and red lighted me as I sat there for about a second. Track showed a 2.7 60' time and I think it said I ran a 13.0 @ 121 but I'm sure it's just because my roll started the timer early.

Next pass felt great, 60' didn't print out but I ended up missing 4th gear and just coasted through the gear didn't ever bother putting it in after I missed it but coasted to a 12.0 @ 103.

Fourth pass was a 12.0 @ 121, again the 60' didn't show up as I redlighted.

That about sums it up. I was very happy with the performance of the Nitto's. With some more seat time trying to get the launch down I'm confident on a track prepped like it was I can get a 1.8.

So regardless of if my slicks get here or not by the 21st I'm planning to race at Roswell, everyone is welcome to caravan with us if you want too.

Just gotta go on a day where they actually prep the track. It was night and day difference.

Roswell is always prepped pretty well though, even on street nights.

It is a shame they wont take care of the track when they have around a 100 cars running and a lot of spectators paying to watch every Sunday. I am afraid they are going to mess around and lose all of their local support because they dont want to invest in it at all.
Well I dont know about Roswell, may take my son fishing to Del Rio. Should know which way I am going around Thursday.

It is a First Gen, painted to match my 2010.

It has a V-8 350 w/350 Turbo Trans w/B&M Shift Kit.

Pictures to come soon. I need to make sure that the deal is completed first.
