What is considered fast?
Hello everyone again, I just was wondering what is considered normal or fast for a v6 camaro. I have this one app for my Ipod and it says my 0-60 is in 6.9 seconds. My car is bone stock except for the fatter rubber at the wheels. So I guess I should show you guys what I am on about, I took a snapshot of the screen that says how fast it was. Notice I did not want to go any faster than 60.
On a private road.

To me that's not fast at all. If it makes you feel good and you like it that's all that matters.

Fast is user defined. If it feels fast to you then it is...

Fast is relative because when I was a kid a 383 4 barrel Dodge charger was considered fast and would do 0 to 60 in about 6 seconds and about 98 to 99 in the quarter. The old Adam 12 TV series Malloy is talking to Reed about the speed of their 68 Plymouth Satellite black and white police car and it was 0 to 60 in 10 seconds and 120 MPH top end. My new 2010 Camaro V-6 is is comparable to the old 68 Charger(0 to 60 in 6 seconds 98 in quarter and top end 155). I drove a 99 B4C Police Camaro and that was the fastest car I ever drove. It did 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds the 1/4 in the low 13's and topped out at 168 to 172 which I never attained. I'd say the new 2010 SS's are definitely FAST. Any of these cars need to be treated with respect and common sense or you or others can get seriously hurt or killed!

while everyone is semi-correct in stating that fast is relative...
that doesnt do squat to answer the question you really asked. however, this post did. 6.9 0-60 in a stock V6 4th gen is fast your 60 ft sucks tho....lol
