It means that starting sometime between thurs and sat the system will be able to make the change. Once available, it will remain that way.

Ah, got it. Thanks for the clarification. I was reading it differently.

I know CamaroScotty is credible, that is why I went in w/ full confidence that I would walk out w/ the option added to my order....but instead I left looking like an idiot, or so it felt.
I didn't find out about the Thurs-Sat deal until after I posted the other info.

My dealer just left me a message on my cell phone, and let me know that he called this morning, trying to find out about the wheels...and he tried to have them on the phone change it manually, and as of this morning, NO ONE has been able to add this option (w/ the RS package).

So, if this is something that is supposed to take effect this Thurs-Sat. fine....but these 'teaser' posts aren't valid until someone comes on here, like Scott or Cheryl and says otherwise.

My dealer said he would check back daily, and let me know the second he finds out something...

I will keep reporting back the more I find out....

Not just THIS Thurs-Sat. What I heard was changes are only allowed each Thurs-Sat of every week for some reason. But....I'm not a credible source......so just ignore me.

Funny stuff, really!

OK, I read this thread which said this was NOW an available option....I go to the dealer to try to add it onto my order, since this thread is credible, and come back to post the outcome in a decent way and get sarcasm!

GOT to love it

Hell, I guess we (us uninformed people) are all just supposed to be know-it-alls about everything, and not ask questions to find out when something is stated, that is not actually correct

I willing to bet there's not a damn person on this site that wants this change made more than me, but don't be so hostile , don't you think if anyone here could do something about it they would

That's right -changes can only be made Thurs.-Sat. All Sun.-Wed. change people have been laid off. Well, one has to consider the source. But on the positive side, we/they have 14 Thurs.-Sat.'s before production begins to get it right....I plan to wait a bit, but I will have my polished aluminum wheels....Oh Yes!!!

I am waiting for polished wheels also. After GM allows changes to start on whatever week from some Thursday to Saturday, it won't make a damn bit of difference what day from that point on that you make the changes as long as the order has not been placed or on constraint. Amen.

I have also been considering adding the polished aluminum wheels to my 2010 2SS/RS however I think that $1200 for the RS with midnight silver wheels upgrade and $470 for the polished wheels option is a little too much money. The way I see it I would now be paying $1670 for the headlights, tail lights, RS badges, and polished wheels. It is not like they are going to send you the set of midnight silver wheels which you just paid for on the RS option, but are now not going to get because you added the polished aluminum wheels option. Anyone else agree with me?

Please re-read the thread...no one is hostile....I simply read this thread, went to my dealer (fully confident after this news that it wouldn't be a problem), they said it couldn't be done, and I reported back to this thread...that is when the crap hit the fan, and some 'ego' was touched or something...if it had been posted that these changes could only be made Thurs-Sat I wouldn't have went in on a Monday...I would have waited...but 'that' info was not posted in the beginning...

Just let this crap go (about who is wrong/right bs), and let's get on to the real business of when we can officially add this option to our order....
