Last one on the page.

You will also need a 3 bolt 4X Cam gear. The LS3 cam gear is now a single bolt design. A LS2 non GTO gear would work. The chain and tensioner are good to go.

This modification would not be covered under warranty. Also GM does not have a calibration that would work in the Camaro. As you know GM Performance Parts has a controller that is available for their crate LS376/480. That controller is not compatable with the Camaro.

I am sure that most tuners would be able to tune that cam change.

Robin

whats the point of buying a gmpp cam then if it voids the warranty. wouldnt it make more sense to buy one that will give you more power if thats what your looking for?

what you quoted there does not mean it voids warrenty.

what you quoted says it wont be covered under warrenty. you have a seperate warrenty for the gmpp parts that of course would not be covered by your standard powertrain warrenty.

like i said, a dealer says in writting they'll cover it; that's the end of the discussion.

I suppose later on down the line, shortly before adding the blower, I'll bore the throttle body, and possibly send the heads, lower, and upper intake to be ported and polished. That'll be after the warranty is void. She'll still look stock, but she sure as hell wont run like it. That'll be a minimum of 550 horses and counting. Toss on a blower and she'll likely do what the ZR1 does... only a butt-load heavier. Carbon fiber can only go so far without cutting her all up. The bumpers, fenders and hood will certainly be replaced. Good God this is getting expensive!
heh, you better bring more than that if you want to hang at the track.

No, but he was talking about smacking the Challenger and GT500 down at the track. I'm just yankin' people's chains anyway.
