Welcome Welcome! well now that I see the date you joined C5 you should be saying welcome to me. Ha ha. Yeah that's my white Camaro. I am planning on going to the track next Sunday. I should have all of my upgrades by then and be roaring down that track in the low 13's, high 12's I hope

The track in Roswell was prepped very nicely, pretty sticky. I cut mostly 1.9 60's throughout the night and my best was again my first pass which was an 11.4@128.

Hoping to have the slicks and skinnies soon so I can bust off some 10's... We upgraded the pulley on the car and now it's pushing 11psi instead of 9psi, feels good. I think the car has 10.4's in it with the slicks and skinnies and better weather, we had a pretty monster headwind all night.

Hi everyone. My name is Alex. I've been following Camaro5.com for a while now, but don't really post anything on the forums. So I thought it was about time I got a little more involved. I am from El Paso, but am in the Navy stationed in Japan. I have a 99 Hugger Orange SS that I never get to drive. I want to get the new Camaro when I get back to El Paso and hopefully put the Navy behind me.

Maybe some of you have seen me in my Hugger Orange before. I used to go to the drags a lot once upon a time back in the Dezert Demon days.

Anyway, good to meet you guys.

Awesome times! I just got a new tune and it feels a little stonger, so I hope to be chasing your times soon! Man I wish I could hook on the strip like I can on the street, my neck still hurts from my shake out yesterday.
Have you found brakes yet? I am really looking forward to seeing this setup.

I have a question for all of you about your purchase. Last time I was in town was in January and I went to check them out at the dealership and they wanted $40,000 for a 2SS at Mission Chevrolet. I was wondering if they are still marked up that much over MSRP and if you all happen to get a deal somewhere else.
