I'd say keep it! I'm doing the same w/ mine. I've got 15k on her already, will probably have close to 30k by the first year. The car can handle it if you take care of it right. Its all in the maintenance. You can make it last a long long time.

Yea I waxed her up and cleaned the inside yesterday. I came out this morning (70 degrees and sunny) and that thing was glistening. Looked gorgeous...I plan to keep her and get it paid off.

Like everyone said, by the time it has 100,000, it will be paid off and I'll be able to get something new and have it as a fun car.

Thanks again for everyone's input.

I have 24,000 on mine in about a year and have not had one problem.

She still shines and drives well.

keep it. the car will not last less or have more issues b/c it's a "sports car" or "muscle car" or "pony car".

its a car. metal, plastic, paint, etc. It just looks better than most other cars.

maintain it, it will run just fine for a long time. plus you have a 100k mile warranty on the powertrain.... don't we?

Your Camaro is domestic and you're thinking about getting an import for longevity? Nine times out of ten it will be cheaper to repair a domestic.

2006 saturn Ion 206,000 miles, do the math thats 50,000 + a year. Take care of the cars it takes care of U. Bought the Caramo for fun, but its getting averaging about 26 city/hwy. I don't drive it like a racer, 2004 Mustang (40th) 100,000 + take care of it also. Don't fear the miles, fear how U drive it.

My 2002 Z just clicked over 83K--still runs like a champ, and I do NOT go easy on it!
