Just thought I'd post this since alot of people have been comparing the Mustang to Camaro so much on here and saying the Mustang's interior is crap. Jay compares the Mustang to a BMW. Compares it's handling to BMW and Mercedes. I've just read some many of you saying that the Mustang has cheap interior. Funny how Jay Leno, a guy that owns some of the most expensive cars in the world doesn't say so. Reason I'm posting this is because no one seems to trust the word of Motor Trend or Car and Driver and everyone calls them Ford fanboys. Jay Leno loves all different breeds of cars and isn't bias. He doesn't need Chevy or Fords money to get him to say nice things. I did notice that Jay bought the 2011 GT Mustang and it belonged to him where as in the Camaro video, Chevy had sent him a Camaro.

remember people calling me a troll. This is a vs forum! I love my Camaro but unlike some of you I'm not a fanboy. I plan on owning a Mustang as well.

This is a VS forum, when are you boys going to chill out about the troll name calling? Do you expect people not to post about Mustangs in a VS. FORUM? Besides I own a 2010 Camaro V6. Just because I don't care that much about the SS doesn't make me a troll. When I get a v8 model, I'd rather get a 2000-2002 Z28 or Trans-Am, 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra. because they are about as fast and in some cases faster then your 2010 SS. I enjoy my V6 for gas milage and looks and it's my daily driver. I'll get a cheaper V8 for weekend racer.

Jay is about as unbiased as you can get. He's got 3 or 4 Corvettes (including a ZR1 and a Z06), two Camaros (a classic and a 2010 AFAIK) along with ALOT of supercars and exotics. He's got two Challengers (A 70 R/T with a 426 Hemi and a SRT8) and a great deal of other cars.

If he says its great, its great. Having met him and talked cars for a bit I take his word over any car magazine or retarded website review (including Challengertalk, Camaro5 and TheMustangSource).

With a lap time of 2:58.5, it places the 2011 Shelby GT500 11th place overall (2009 caranddriver lightning lap combined years results)

The lightning lap is my standard for real-world car performance, as it's really the only list of cars that are N.American centric and real-life budget constrained. The Nurburgring list I find contain mainly exotic super cars and not enough N.American cars.

Therefore I can't wait until the Z28 enters this list. It will definitely beat the CTS-V - but by how much? We are so lucky to have 2 competitive muscle car brands!

interesting that a 550hp (Curb weight 3,820, 510 lb.-ft. @ 4,250 rpm) car can beat a 638hp Corvette zr1(Curb weight: 3,352 lb, Torque: 604 ft·lbf )? WTF? I think this is a bogus claim. I have seen some incredible stats on the ZR1 and have to say its a monster.
