so far looks like its just you, me and Doug from San Antonio. I will pm Doug to see which starting point (Austin or San Marcos) he recommends that we start at. I really don't mind the extra time behind the wheel if he wants to start in Austin. Then we can pick a spot to meet in SA.....cool?

I'm pretty sure Doug wants to just hit up San Marcos instead of driving all the way to Austin, then coming back, then turning around and going to Austin again. Makes sense.

I figured we could all meet over in the Forum somewhere around 7 am (possibly somewhere that serves a quick breakfast) and then head to San Marcos at 7:30 and hopefully be there before 8. It sounds like this cruise is on a pretty strict deadline so I would like to make sure we get to San Marcos early enough so there's no issues.

Yes, early is good. I would like to be in San Marcos 15-20 minute b4 8am. Not sure how long to get there (at the speed limit!), like to account for traffic, accidents, construction etc. Breakfast is fine.
