Those 5in tips look f'n sweet. I just wonder about the heat on the rear diffuser. There were people melting the rear diffuser with misaligned smaller tips but those big suckers just about touch. Please keep us informed on this possible issue.

Will do ! They are out just enough I don't think any melting will occur but I will keep everyone informed if it does.

They are double-walled tips... No heat issues. Mine still need more adjusting... going to take it to a muffler shop this weekend probably. Not sure why mine aren't sitting right. They are close but need some adjusting.

Gianni, LOOKING GREAT MAN!!! Just got my intake installed. Took about 20 min.

I just ordered a R2C CAI...does anyone have any feedback to send my direction? This is my first mod for my 2SS/RS, looking forward to how this will wake up the beast. Also thinking about a tune...any thoughts?

Just joking with ya, I actually know nothing about that intake though sorry im sure someone will though try search or start a thread.

And thanks everyone ! I feel like im driving a whole new car only had one problem hasn't happened twice but when I started the car it would start but half way through ignition it just died out. When I tried starting again it sounded like it had a really hard time starting the car but it still started. Only has happened once but it has only been one day.

Does anyone know the part number for just the tips? I looked around but couldn't find anything that looked like them. I love the look of the 5in double walled tips but don't want to go straight tubes.

I would call Magnaflow and see if they can't get you a part number. Tell them you are looking for the tips that come on the 16580. Then I would call MagnaflowPlus.com and get a price from them.

I looked on MF site and there are a couple 5" tips even though they say for diesel.
