Don't feel bad. I was also stuck with dial up until I moved and bought my own house a few years back. Had I not moved, I'd still be stuck on dial up today. Love my DSL.

(and no I didn't move to a 'big city'...I like things a little less busy than in a large urban area)

Check into 3G or 4G wireless data plans with CLEAR, AT&T, Verizon, & Sprint. I live 20 miles south of downtown Houston but can't get cable (TV or internet) or DSL either. Luckily I live close enough to cell towers with 3G, and now 4G, wireless service and that's all I've been using for my internet access for 3+ years now. No way I could keep up with all the content on Camaro5.com without it.

You're missing out on cool video!

I paid $994 all said and done. All it took was 6 hours of learning what to do, and the use of some highly technical curse words.
