Taking 2 spots is asking for it.

Yupp Potomac Mills. We parked at the main entrance lot, not even the AMC lot lol.

True true. I feel like if I park all the way out in the sticks to stay away from other parkers, when I come out at night I'll see my Camaro sitting on cinder blocks and end up getting mugged! lol

That being said, I think you do take more of a risk by taking two spots. Park with one side protected by an Island, and park as close to the island as possible. That's what I do.

Parking in two spots is more likely to piss other people off. No need to provoke them. Keep the car between the lines...that's my motto.

I've been doing the same thing with every car I drive. Never take 2 spots, park as far away as possible or better yet, as close to an island as possible. BUT, the camero is never left alone anywhere...

I wouldn't take two spots. I saw a huge Ford truck at Christmas take up 4 spots, and someone left a very nasty letter on his window.
When i go to the mall half the morons can't park straight in one spot to begin with. Just try to be careful who you park next to. In other words if you're parked next to a Mercedes, chances are that guy isn't going to key you, or bang his door into you. Primered 1991 honda, might be different story.
