This morning on the way to work (about 42 miles, all but about 4 is highway), averaged 63mph and got 30.1mpg. 87 Octane, about 500 miles on the car.

I'm still only getting in the 16-18 range. The only explanation I can think of is that the majority of my driving is stop and go around town. Don't do much highway driving at all. The good thing is I don't drive a lot, even though it's my DD, so a tank of gas can last me a few weeks.

I'm at 17.5mpgs, that's about 80% driving in town and the rest highway.

7,600 miles on it now, city 90%, Hwy 10% average speed is hanging around 22MPH, and has been holding pretty steady at around 18.9 MPG, this is for about the last 500 miles. I haven't done any strictly highway driving since my last report.
87 Octane, Automatic running in D mode.

Since we seem to have a pretty large discrepancy on average MPGs with the V6 I would have to assume that driving style, altitude and terrain has a lot to do with the differences

Milage

I drive about 55 miles from home to work every day. I average about 23.5-25 mpg. I drive most of my time on the highway, and less than 7 miles in local driving each way, however some of the highway mileage is during rushour traffic...so something there for stop and go.

I have to ask (may not be the right spot) but this is my first 'sports' car, and I'm not sure if i'm doing anything more positive by adding 93 octane gas over 87, or if it matters?

I love this car, and even though the blindspots are a little harsh, I'll drive this car till it dies...and I'll be buying another one!

Just drove from Dallas to Houston and back. Avg 26mpg down and 28/29mpg back home. On the way home I filled up south of Houston. I still have around 150 left in the tank and have driven over 300 miles.
