Welcome to Camaro5. The asses are very vocal around here. I personally thought your post was great. Muscle cars are intended to be fun and you are SUPPOSED to do stupid things with them.

I beat the ever-living crap out of ALL the cars listed in my sig. When I get my Camaro, it will be smoking tires at every opportunity... because that's what a musclecar is for.

I salute you. Ignore the fossils and killjoys around here.

Buy a Roots type supercharger, not abuse the tranny for "sound"

My buddy did that on his skylark continuously, kept wondering why he would have to replace the tranny every 3 months.

Doing donuts in a parking lot in the rain? That sucks. You have enough power to do good donuts without the rain screwing them up. A car like the SS Camaro is meant to be driven not abused. Ie, once the car hits operating temp you then proceed to go WOT as much as you can get away with doing.

Donuts=good. Rain donuts=lame. Fucking with the tranny the way you are is abuse. If you want to do what you are doing, get a manual, otherwise KNOW that you are abusing your car for the worse, not the fun kind of abuse.

I totally agree.. Stop bashing people...Coming from the E60.net (BMW 5 series), MFest forum and 6speedonline I'm not use to so many people bashing on each other. The purpose of a forum is for people to ask questions and learn from other people and of course show off their rides. This is a great forum besides all the bashing that goes on.

Oh but of course,...I pamper the car, but it's just that some days, I feel, well,...."wild". And it shows behind the wheel,...and it just so happens that on those days, I have lots of fun. Yeah, I stopped flooring it and letting off, ...don't wanna abuse my pride and joy. But what I will continue to do is-floor it and drive the hell out of it!

Today, stable-track and traction control was both off,...and all I can say is, WOW. When you turn them off, it really shows. The car becomes a god. But I only rev in neutral when people want me to show-off. It puts a smile on they're face. Like today,...car wash filthy from past week of rain,...yet I was at a light, and there is this guy in his car with his two kids and they're both looking out the window going nuts! I mean reaching they're hands out the window at the car, smiling and pointing,....it was a feeling that you can't easily replace. I loved it. I then put it in neutral and revved the engine for dad and his kids and they're smile just got bigger and dad gave me the thumbs up....even though he couldn't seem me through the limo-tint.

LOL! Hilarious! I think I'm fine,...but I'll recommend it as an upgrade to my coworker who drives a honda civic.
